Review: I Am Number Four

I have watched "I Am Number Four" and I must say that this movie will be in the list of my favourite movies. Not sure about others, but this movie remind me of the drama Roswell, Smallville and The Powers of Matthew Star. Directed by D.J. Caruso (Eagle Eye, Disturbia) and starring Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer, Dianna Agron, Kevin Durand, and Callan McAuliffe.

The story is about John, a teen with super power from another planet that came to Earth to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three had been killed and he is number FOUR. The only way to destroy the enemies is by finding the five others who are like him. The movie has high school romance, full of action with great effects, and of course if you love animal you will love the dog, not a normal dog, it came from the same planet as John and can shape-shift.

In America it is rated PG-13 for violence (though I find it not that extreme) and language but here in Singapore, it is PG suitable for young, old and I definitely recommend it to watch as a family night. Overall I am very happy with this movie although it has a common story line but due to the great effect and stunts I will give 4 stars out of 5.

@JIm, totally agree with you. However there are some don't really like the movie much which I don't understand why but they have the right for their opinion. Anyway, thanks for stopping by.

I am looking forward to seeing this one, the effects look good and it sounds like an interesting story. And I like Smallville, so that comparison intrigues me also.
